A private villa in Al Wakrah, on Qatar's south coast, finished in a full white natural stone facade. Auckland supplied, fabricated and installed the cladding, the grand entrance arches, the carved cornices and the column detailing end to end — a solid, permanent elevation built to hold up in Al Wakrah's coastal heat.
A white stone facade
The elevations are clad in clean white natural stone with even ashlar coursing, and grand arches frame the openings and entrance. The bright, uniform tone gives the villa the prestigious, modern white-stone look that Qatari owners want, and it reads as solid and permanent from the street.
Carved cornices and detailing
Layered cornices, dentil courses and moulded window surrounds run around the building, fabricated on our CNC line to one consistent profile so the detailing matches on every elevation. Column and arch elements were carved and finished to complete the classical language of the facade.
Engineered for the coast
Al Wakrah's coastal setting means salt and humidity on top of the Gulf heat, so the stone is mechanically fixed with stainless steel — each panel moves independently and thermal expansion is absorbed instead of cracking the elevation — and sealed to resist staining. The result is a facade built to stay looking right for decades.
