Shaping stone in Qatar since 2011
Auckland Construction & Development was founded in Doha in 2011 by engineers Khalil Al Akhras and Karam, starting with small residential projects in Muaither. What began as a modest stone workshop grew, project by project, into one of Qatar's established names in natural-stone supply, fabrication and installation.
By 2016, marble had become a core part of the business. By 2018 we were delivering large villa and palace facades, and through 2020 we kept our sites running at full capacity. Today Auckland runs a 30-strong in-house team and a 1,000 m² fabrication factory, and has supplied and installed over 211,000 m² of stone across more than 150 projects.

Engineer-led, hands-on
Eng. Khalil Al Akhras
Co-founded Auckland in 2011 and leads the company's strategy, global sourcing and growth across Qatar and the GCC.
Eng. Karam
Runs project delivery end to end — from quotation and design coordination to installation and handover on site.
Our 30-strong team is fully in-house — dedicated marble, stone and carving/décor departments led by our general foreman — so one accountable crew carries every project from the first cut to the last fixed panel.
A 1,000 m² fabrication factory
We fabricate in our own 1,000 m² workshop in Doha, running bridge saws, CNC routers and waterjet, polishing lines and edge profilers — with capacity for up to 40,000 m² of stone a month. Because sourcing, fabrication and installation are all in-house, the material you approve is the material that goes up.
Backed by a 10–15 year installation warranty
We stand behind our work with a 10 to 15 year warranty on installation, depending on the project. Stone is sourced worldwide, hand-selected for grade, and mechanically fixed to last decades in the Gulf climate.
